There are many ways we can reduce our plastic waste when we go shopping. You might not notice it but you probably buy tons of things that are wrapped in plastic. Don't believe me? Next time you go shopping count the items that are wrapped in plastic. If your not sure what's plastic and what's not then you can always ask.
One way to use the least amount of plastic when you're shopping is by using reusable tote bags instead of plastic bags. When you get home also try and put your bulk of ingredients in glass jars and then put the packaging in the right bin. Soft plastic in a soft plastic recycling bin, cardboard in a recycling bin and the same with the hard plastic.
